If you don't fill out the fields you'll be left with N/A covering your post details, and it does not look pretty. However, for those of us with OOC or staff accounts we'll get a whole lot of things we can't really do anything with, you can either ignore it or add personal details if you want. To fill in these profile fields simply edit your profile information from your control panel.

This is the site when i use the 'Switch Account' button after linking accounts to my Kaden account. It lists these 4 characters i have (Omoikane is actually just to post information relating to pre-RP events) and upon selecting one it automatically swaps me to that account without having to log back out, and then back in with someone.

I will explain how this works, and how to use it in this specific forum.
  • First, you will need to have your OOC account registered. This account uses your pen-name, or your character name if you don't want an OOC account. (for example, mine is Kaden).
  • Log out of your main account, and register your character account (make sure your password is as secure as your main account's password, especially if you are staff), if you haven't already done so.
  • Go back to your main account, and go to My Controls in the menu bar. Find the option in the menu -- under Personal Profile -- that says Edit Sub-Accounts.
  • Enter into the fields under "Link an Existing Account" the character's name and the password you used. Click "Link this Account."
  • It's done! Should you need to De-Link the accounts, you can do that from the same section.

Well, first: Colouring your dialogue is OPTIONAL. Don't feel compelled to do it if you don't want to! It makes it easier to see your dialogue at-a-glance and looks pretty, but if it's used in a thread, it is NOT a way to know what's going on in a post. Make sure and read all of the post when you are writing cooperatively.

Here's how you do it. This is the code:

You'll need to pick a colour. Doesn't have to be anything specific, just don't make it really dark or really bright; we want to be able to read it on all skins.

I use Hex Hub to get my colours. To remember them, I put the code into my sig. Yep. Those six-letter codes work in your code! But, for those who'd rather use words, here are some InvisionFree colour codes, courtesy of my friend Melly.
